Truth or Consequences Community Theater is a group of enthusiastic, theater-loving people who are committed to providing a rich environment for members of the  community to enjoy high quality theatrical productions at affordable prices. We provide a venue for local playwrights and community artists to display their craft.

What makes TCCT unique? Our season includes mystery dinner theater productions. Some of our shows are suitable for the entire family, while others have a mischievously adult twist. We offer something for everyone!

Sleeping Indoors; December 2-11
by Jim Holt

The board has voted to produce Sleeping Indoors by Jim Holt and directed by Carol Anton. Casting will begin in mid to late September. It will be on stage December 2 through 11. This is a four-person play, which takes place in December at Christmas time. It is an inspiring, thought provoking, often-hilarious play having to do with our perceptions of the homeless. Jim Holt, the author of this play, which premiered in Savannah, GA, has given us the rights to do this play royalty-free if we will take pictures, film it, send in comments or reviews, and possibly contribute to the plight of the homeless.

Tentative for spring 2012
Southern Fried Murder; August 26-Sept 4. postponed
Ralph Edwards Auditorium, 400 W 4th St, T or C, NM.

Southern Fried MurderDescription: Way down south in Dixie, there's something's rotten in the cotton! Wealthy family matriarch Magnolia Capote has summoned her kith and kin to dinner in a fancy restaurant to discuss her will. But when Mrs. Capote is killed with her walking stick, mayhem ensues and her possible heirs become involved in a treasure hunt to interpret the encrypted will! The audience is totally involved in this mystery/comedy with one member actually recruited from the audience to play a small part. The roles spoof Tennessee Williams' heroines, Bette Davis in “Hush, Hush, Sweet Charlotte” characters from Tobacco Road, Truman Capote, and other denizens of the Deep South.
